Oddball Inspiration Post

Hi everyone!

Here I am with another Oddball DT post.  

I have used Image No. 247 Spooky Sue

I have cropped her down, so this is not the full image.  

Here is my card:

 

I have used some papers and card from my stash.  The doily has some wink of stella over it to make it glittery, although that's not obvious in the photo.  I have added washi tape from my stash, unfortunately I put all the washi tape together so I have no idea where each of them have come from.  I have added the heart banners from Station Stickers, which are planner stickers.  Pearls from Wild Orchid.  The Happy Birthday sticker is again another planner sticker, but this one is from JuJuAllOver, and I've trimmed the days of the week off the bottom.

Oddball DT Challenge Here Comes The Sun

Hi everyone!

The new challenge over at Oddball Art Co. is Here Comes The Sun

So add some Suns onto your projects.

I have used Image No. 307 Silly Sally Smiles

I have cropped the image down, so this is not the full image.  I have used the sun and one of the sentiments from this set, and I haven't actually used Sally... But she will be on a card soon.  

So I've used the image and sentiment as part of my planning page this week.  Using bright yellow and green as my colour scheme, not colours I usually use.  But I think the layout looks fab with the large sun and sentiment.  I'm happy with how it turned out.

Crafting When We Can DT ~ Sketch

Crafting When We Can Challenges has a new challenge for the next fortnight.  

This time the theme is a SKETCH.  

Here is my DT card using a sponsor image from Sasayaki Glitter called Shopping Meg, isn't she adorable?!

She is coloured using Copics:

Backing paper I made myself when using up leftover paint after my mixed media projects.  I will show you how I do this by video at some point in the future.

Cloudy Cow Bundle

I decided on a whim to purchase a Cloudy Cow Bundle.  

These are not subscription boxes.  They are a surprise stationery bundle worth at least £10.  

They cost £10 plus postage and packaging, which in my case was £2.50 (UK); so £12.50 in total. Please note I have purchased this with my own money, and all views are 100% my own. 

It came in a box which fits through the letterbox, ideal so you don't have to be in or go and fetch it from a post office.  The goodies are wrapped in yellow tissue paper, which I will recycle into a mixed media project at some point in the future.  

Inside the bundle is a nice welcome note:

Inside I have two washi tapes.  There is one with feathers on which I love! The other is flowers but I'm not quite so keen on but feel I will still use it.  

Sticky notes, which to be honest I don't like.  However I'll pass these on to someone else who will use them.

A watermelon pencil case.  This I love the bright yellow colour, and have put some pens in it straight away! It is now in my bag and used daily.    

Four stickers which to be honest I do not like at all! These really are not my kind of thing.  So again these will go to a new home with someone who will love them and want to use them.  

A mustache pen, it reads 'Mr Flower Mustache is vintage'. 
This pen and writes really nicely and is black ink.  

These stickers I absolutely LOVE! These will be perfect for my planning, and I would like to know where to get them as I would definitely buy more of them! I'm usually a fan of colourful stickers, but these black and white ones really appeal to me! Very happy with these.  

Next we have some flower stickers.  Again these will be useful for my planning, but also card making.  

Here is everything together, there were also some die cut clouds from white paper and a Cloudy Cow card.  

Overall a good mixture of stationery items in this bundle.
As I've said some are not to my personal taste, but will be to other people.  So I will happily pass these on to someone who will like them, so they are likely to go into my giveaway which I'm in the process of putting together at the moment. 
I like the majority of the items in this bundle and have already started using several of them.  I think it is highly likely I will buy another bundle in the future.  I personally feel it is worth the money spent (£12.50) even with the items I am passing on to another home.

April's Happy Paper Club Unboxing

So here I am again with the next unboxing of the Happy Paper Club!

This is a very good quote for me this month actually.  I'm toying with various things in my life and there are definitely areas which I would like to change, so this quote is very fitting right now for me!  

The greeting card this month

I have to be honest I don't like this one.  I make cards so don't really have a need for cards like this.  But to be honest I just don't like the glass.  But it will still more than likely find it's way to a new home as I don't make many male cards.  

All of the packaging comes with a sticker like this.  So they are good for the environment.  I've popped them into our compost bin, but we shall see how well they biodegrade.  

 Cool pencil!  

I love writing in pencil so this will definitely get used plenty.

Lastly is the menu planner pad. 

This I absolutely LOVE! 

I regularly plan meals and have tried doing this in many different ways.  This will be handy to jot down ideas for meals and do a shopping list which I can rip off the bottom and take with me (if I'm not doing online shopping).  

 So I'm happy with this month's box!
It will all go to good use, in fact I used the menu planner pad and pencil this morning to sort out our weekly meals and shopping!

I have been considering joining the travelling postcard phase, so I can use the postcards for that.  Or alternatively in my creative work either mixed media or card making.
