Oddball DT ~ New Release Magic Under The Sea (1)

Hi everyone!

I am here with some fabulous new release images from Oddball Art Co!
This time the new release images are Magic Under The Sea!

Lizzy has sneakily released the images early so here are my first two creations. 

Firstly, I have used Image No. 319 Molly the Mischievous Mermaid

I have created a scene around the mermaid using Copic Markers.  

Next up is Image No. 320 Nixie The Mermaid Spirit of the Sea

The sentiment also comes with this lovely mermaid.  

I've created the scene by using copic markers to colour in the sky, clouds, sea and beach.  

I have used the Kit and Clowder Create and Learn classes to help me with these backgrounds.  

They are the marker ones from May 2015, January 2016 and May 2016.

Oddball DT Challenge Little Child

Hi everyone!

The new challenge over at Oddball Art Co. is Little Child

So let's see some kids projects.

I have done a project which is for children to use.  I work with children and use various tools and worksheets etc when doing direct work.  A lot of the time I have to make my own resources because bought ones are too expensive and there is no budget at work unfortunately.

I have made some affirmation cards using Oddball Image No. 219 Stars

These were made by adding the image into a word document which I laid out a grid with 4 parts.  In each I added the star image and changed the phrases underneath to the ones I wanted to create lots of variety.  I have kept everything positive so there are no negative statements.  Once printed out, I cut down and then laminated and trimmed again.  I have made 64 cards in total.  Some are blank with no statement for the children to create their own if they wanted to.

Crafting When We Can DT ~ Based On A Film

Crafting When We Can Challenges has a new challenge for the next fortnight.  

This time the theme is Based On A Film.  

Here is my DT card using a sponsor image from Oddball Art Co. called Ivy Peek-A-Boo No. 166

The film choice being Burlesque

She is coloured using Copics:

Pinks R81, R83, R85, R89

Backing paper is from a free paper pad I got, I'm not sure which company. 

I have handwritten the 'welcome to burlesque'.  Stars are from my stash.
